Single-thread or double-thread?

Fine single-thread mochila in moss, clay and raw white on linen

Two mochilas can look identical at first glance and still differ sharply in price. The reason almost always lies in the craft: single-thread or double-thread.

In double-thread (dos hebras), the weaver carries two strands at once. It's quicker, and the weave is softer and a little looser — the lively classic, perfect for every day.

In single-thread (una hebra), the work is done with a single strand. The weave becomes denser, finer and far more durable. The price is time: instead of around 18 days, a weaver spends over four weeks on one piece.

Which is right? Both. Double-thread is the easy companion, single-thread the heirloom. Every product page tells you which one you're holding.
