On a black ground stand the quartered figures of the iwouya in turquoise, orange and fuchsia — the densest drawing La Guajira weaves, and the one that costs the most rows. A broad orange band splits the body across the middle; below it the turquoise deepens towards petrol. The black holds it all together. One of a kind.

Fair & direct.

This piece was sourced in La Guajira through a direct partnership — with a commitment to fair pay. As soon as we can introduce the weavers with their consent, we'll share their stories here.
